A pair of “Crocs” clones arrived today. I concluded fairly recently that I could not use my walking boots when staying at a Youth Hostel or B&B-so I need a pair of very lightweight shoes. By chance I discovered that a neighbour had a pair of these sandals that were incredibly light, less than the mules I had been considering. These are great, 280 g for a pair of size 11. They will be fine for evenings and if crossing stream I can save getting my boots wet. I really think I now have everything I need.
